Relay for Life events scheduled in area

Six Relay for Life events have been planned in the Blue Water Area. All of the events are sanctioned by the American Cancer Society as a way to recognize cancer survivors and raise money for the society.

The local events will be: Relay for Life of Greater Port Huron: 11 a.m. Saturday at 4350 24th Ave., Fort Gratiot

Relay for Life of Chesterfield: 10 a.m. Saturday at 30300 Hickey Road, Chesterfield Township

Relay for Life of Sanilac County: 10 a.m. June 7 at 260 Dawson St.,Sandusky

Relay for Life of New Baltimore: 10 a.m. June 7 at 52805 Ashley St., New Baltimore

Relay for Life of East China: 8:30 a.m. June 21 at 1585 Meisner Road, East China Township

Relay for Life of Capac: 11 a.m. June 28 at 541 N. Glassford St., Capac.
